About us
Our history
Our story with bees started quite unexpectedly. We never thought we would ever raise bees or make candles.
It all started with my dad's idea - he suggested we try raising bees so we could have our own honey. Some friends were already doing it, and it seemed like it would be pretty simple.
What's most interesting is that both my sister and I were afraid of bees back then! But my dad bought the first hives anyway, and that's where it all started.
At first, my dad and sister took care of everything, and I only occasionally helped out. However, after going to the apiary once or twice, I noticed something special – being among the bees and listening to their buzzing would bring me peace. My mood would lift, and time would simply disappear.
Little by little, we started spinning our own honey, becoming interested in wax, taking courses, and learning more and more about this world.
At first, to be honest, we didn't even use that much honey - it just seemed like a tasty addition to tea. But now honey has become a part of our everyday life - we put it everywhere we used to use sugar. It's become our little, healthier tradition.
This is how the idea of trying candle making was gradually born.
Unlike bees, which I was initially a little afraid of since childhood, candles have always been close to me - I loved burning them every evening, watching the flame and feeling the same calming energy.
At first, we just tried: we watched courses, experimented, studied. But the further I went, the more clearly I felt that this was my calling.
There's nothing better than sitting quietly and casting candles: melting wax, pouring into molds, playing with shapes, trying different methods.
We even tried the traditional candle soaking method – such a calming process that reminds us of the slow rhythm of life.
I often say "peace", but that's exactly what it describes.
Whether you're out in nature with bees or making candles at home, you can feel the energy of nature everywhere. It feels like you're becoming a part of it.
I feel a completely different connection with bees now.
I used to be afraid of them, but now I can hold the bees in my bare hands and talk to them. It sounds strange, but they really seem to listen. There's a mutual trust that I can't put into words.
And so our journey with candles began.
Now we want to share that light, peace, and our creations with you!
Every candle you purchase helps us grow, improve, and nurture our apiary.
